In the last part of the series the secret about Mina is revealed to her as she goes to the world that is called Godshome in order to protect the crazed god. The escape of Mina from prison is quite dramatic and described in such a way that our interest in the character and her fate is aroused to the maximum as if we start hoping or praying for her survival and success. She starts her quest with a band of friends not because she likes such tasks but because she is force to do so in order to save her life and the life of the people around her that are caught by forces with which they cannot compete on their own. Mina a mortal in the land where everything is magical and the people are immortal and with godly powers starts her quest that takes her on a tour of a lifetime. The dragonlance world this time is more terrible than ever in which even the gods can suffer if they are not keeping an eye on their surroundings and the development around them. Margaret Weis has created a wonderful fantasy through his trilogy which has turns and twists at each step. "Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight".

: 16 The storyline of the original Dragonlance series had been plotted and outlined before either the novel trilogy or the games were written. Jean Black, the Managing Editor of TSR's Book Department, picked Hickman and Weis to write Dragons of Autumn Twilight and the rest of the Dragonlance Chronicles series. Weis and her new partner, Tracy Hickman, worked to plot the novel they had hired an author, who didn't work out, but by that time, Weis and Hickman were so into the project that they felt they had to write it. Weis was assigned to edit Hickman's "Project Overlord", as it was initially called, a novel intended to be coordinated with a trilogy of AD&D modules.

Hickman's proposal resulted in the Dragonlance Chronicles, which led to his association with Margaret Weis. Hickman's storyline was chosen for the Dragonlance books due to the 12 part storyline. Soon after Tracy Hickman came to TSR in 1982, management announced the intention to develop his series of dragons based role-playing adventures. The Chronicles trilogy came about because the designers wanted novels to tell the story of the game world they were creating, something to which TSR, Inc. The Dragonlance Chronicles novels were based on a series of Dungeons & Dragons ( D&D) game modules.
